Wharepuni Vs Home - 2 Similarities and 2 Differences

What is a Wharepuni? - A Wharepuni is a house was used and made by the Maori people of Aotearoa back in the 1800's. everyone had a wharepuni until in the 1900's New Zealand governments were rebuilding wharepuni into big 2 storey houses.Now New Zealand is now known for it's amazing landscapes and on going buildings.

2 Similarities Between a Wharepuni and Home.

  1.  A Wharepuni and House are both two building that can keep you warm from the snow in winter and dry from stormy nights.
  2. They both have a front door and windows meaning that air can come in and out.
2 Differences Between Wharepuni and Home
  1. Wharepuni are short houses that many people will find cramped and uncomfortable to sleep in if you have a large rage of family.
  2. Nowadays houses are built differently like every other house but between Wharepuni and My home, My home has more windows and doors, Plus a bigger atmosphere to move and play in.
