Interesting facts about Chinese Culture 

1.Chinese Flag: The flag of China was officially adopted on October 1, 1949. The red of the Chinese flag symbolizes the communist revolution, and it's also the traditional color of the people. The large gold star represents communism, while the four smaller starsrepresent the social classes of the people and there Cultures like Chinese,Korean,Mandarin Chinese,Putonghua..etc.

Lucky Numbers: No. 8 has long been regarded as the luckiest number in Chinese culture. With pronunciation of 'Ba' in Chinese, no. 8 sounds similar to the word 'Fa', which means to make a fortune. It contains meanings of prosperity, success and high social status too, so all business men favor it very much as women do.

1.What content  is china apart of: Located in Southeast Asia along the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, China is the world's third largest country, after Russia and Canada. With an area of 9.6 million square kilometers and a coastline of 18,000 kilometers, its shape on the map is like a rooster or a hen.

1.Chinese New Year: The Year of the Monkey started from Feb. 8, 2016 (Chinese New Year) and will last to Jan. 27, 2017.Monkey is the ninth in the 12-year cycle of Chinese Zodiac. The Years of the Monkey include 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016, 2028. The monkey is a clever animal & was well known in the mid 1900 and 1800 used by Munks.

1.Chinese Culture China is an extremely large country, and the customs and traditions of its people vary by geography and Culture. More than 1 billion people live in China, according to the Asia Society. The largest group is the Han Chinese, with about 900 million people and more developing.

1. Wakin Chau, also known as Emil Chau predominantly throughout the 1980s and 1990s, is a Hong Kong-born Taiwanese singer and actor. Chau's popularity has spread throughout Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and parts of Southeast Asia.

2. Aaron Kwok Fu-shing is a Hong Kong singer, dancer, and actor. He has been active since the 1980s and to the present. He is considered one of the "Four Heavenly Kings"of Hong Kong.

3. Teresa Teng, Teng Li-Chun or Deng Lijun was a Taiwanese pop singer. She was known for her folk songs and romantic ballads. Many became standards in her lifetime, such as "When Will You Return?" and "The Moon Represents My Heart".

1.Most Popular Foods: The "Chow mein" is the Cantonese pronunciation of the Chinese characters above, which means stir-fried noodles. Generally speaking, this stir-fried dish consists of noodles,meat (usually chicken, beefshrimp, or pork), onions and celery.

Chinese Lucky Colour: 
Yellow, Red and Green are Considered Lucky Colors
  • Yellow symbolized royalty and power of the throne. The first Emperor of China was known as the Yellow Emperor & symbolizes Light.
  • Red is the Chinese national color and represents happiness, beauty, success and good fortune. Red is used extensively in everyday life,
  • Green symbolizes money & green grass.
