Hey you, have you ever heard of Longfin eels and shortfin eels? If you haven’t then don’t worry i’ll help you learn a lot about eels But first did you know eels can live up to 100 years old? Cool right, well eels life cycle takes up to 2 months and eels lay millions of eggs a year.If you want more info,stay tuned for amazing facts and paragraphs about Eels.

Are you aware that all your rubbish that you throw into the ground goes into the sewers and ends up in the rivers and streams in your local area? Well all your rubbish can affect the tuna [Eels] habitat in many ways. Don’t worry you can help them by picking up rubbish to stop them from ending up in rivers,lakes and streams.

If you're still reading this than you’re in for a treat because did you know that Tuna [Eel] numbers are going down because of overfishing. Some eels are going down so much that some fishermen think they might go extinct. Tuna are New Zealand’s most long lived Sea creature and have been in New Zealand for years. We should look after our Tuna not make it more hard for the eels to make more and more if we keep on fishing for them. If we don’t find a way to look after the Tuna we will have no more left.

So Look after our Native Eels so they can live for more generations.

My Rapper/Singers Explanation Writing

Why you should listen to Drake - Aubrey Drake Graham

Why should you listen to Drake? Well I’m going to tell you why.

Drake is a well known Canadian rapper/singer.  Drake’s music/songs tells a story, not any kind of story but an emotion story of his background, you know people being racist and all. But that’s not the point, Drake is an amazing rapper/singer and I’m going to explain to you why you should listen to him.

 First of all,  you should listen to him because he is an inspiration to everyone, Yes he swears in most of his songs…..okay maybe all his songs, but drake talks about his lifestyle and his emotional and hard life, Drake is influencing you to not fall into the wrong path and go down in shame or failure. He wants everyone to know that there's always 2 paths you can go down but if you want to go down the good path all you need to do is put your mind to it. And if you do that good things come with it.

Drake's songs are mostly for people who are into rap but he wants to influence more people to listen to his music, and he did, over millions of people, 30 - 78 million people to be exact listen to all his music and the most popular ones are - Hotline Bling, Fake Love, Too Good,One Dance,Controlla,Jumpman, Trust issues Remix and more. Yeah I know lots of songs, but did you know that most of his songs are hits, yup “Hits”. Most rappers or singers songs are mostly just most viewed and most like songs/music. If you haven’t already heard his songs check out his albums - More Life 2017,Views 2016, If you're reading this it's too late 2015 and more  

The Main idea of my explanation is that Drake creates his songs to give back to the world, and by doing that he raps or sings about his life and his emotional background, what I’m trying to say is there is always a story behind all songs and Drakes songs tell a story of his life, because you just don’t listen to a song and move onto the next song, no you get to understand the song and learn more about what the artist is saying in the song, it might be an emotional song or just a very good and pumped up song like Party by Chris Brown.

What i'm trying to say is don’t listen to a song make sure you know what the artist is saying and take the words in.

How To Show Respect??
Well To Show Manaakitanga is to show respect. This means to treat everyone how you would want to be treated, In order to do that you must respect yourself!
How Do you Respect yourself??? Well You can do this by having a Positive Mindset,By taking care of yourself & by talking about yourself kindly. if you know how to do that then you can treat people/others with respect too!!. Its Like a River, if you don't look after it, it will be polluted with negativity.But if you look after it. The River's Water will flow softly with positivity.

Tomorrow I'm going to remember to Make 3 statements and explain,example and extend on the statements paragraph. If i dont this that i can achieve my Writing level at R6 .

Te Whare Tapa Wha - Group Building Activity :D Ultimate Whare Skills!!!!!

Well Today We Made a Te Whare Tapa Wha Out Of Veggies  & Fruits!!!! Yes Veggies and Fruit, You might be wondering, How are you going to  make a whare out of Veggies and fruit, well i'm going to show you :D We did our Taha Wairua,Taha Tinana,Taha Hinengaro,Taha Whanau

My Group - Me,Huriata and Ricky made a amazing and wonderful whare out of fruits and veggies, it looks amazing and creative. We Had Lots of fun making and eating the fruits and veggies. We Had our ups and downs but we finally made it stand. It was Fab!!!!.

We used all sorts of veggies, Sweet Tomato,Carrots,Broccoli,Celery,capsicum & Cucumber.

During this activity we kept arguing about it falling down and trying to fix it, it was hard but we pulled through it. Ricky had to block his nose because he didn't like the smell and he would throw up.

Took us around half an hour to 45 minutes to finish this , and it turned out better than we expected.

For me My Answers were 

1 - Pohutukawa - Mixed - Runny,Very sweet - must be golden syrup and has dark texture

2 - Clover - Smooth & sweet,Light texture,Subtle taste

3 - Mixed - Pohutukawa - Tastes like icing sugar with golden syrup, Its thick and bland. White Texture

4 - Manuka -Tastes like coffee (To me) a bit runny and sweet, Golden texture

My Favourite honey was number 2 - 3 Because They both don't have too much sweetness nor not much sweetness. But I just love the taste
